Location: Preferred locations are Switzerland / Germany – Hybrid & Flexible (Remote candidates must be able to travel regularly to client sites across Europe)

**The opportunity**

Our next initee will be a client-facing consultant bridging scientists and technical teams. You will translate real-world R&D needs into clear digital, automation, and AI initiatives, then support the teams delivering and implementing them.

**Responsibilities**

- Lead discovery in research or development units to understand goals, workflows, and how work progresses from early research (for example target identification) toward clinical trial start.
- Identify blockers and gaps across processes, data, technology, lab automation, and where AI can realistically add value.
- Translate scientific needs into delivery inputs: clear problem statements, prioritized opportunities, and a roadmap that teams can execute.
- Facilitate workshops and align scientists, engineers, and leadership on priorities and next steps.
- Communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Exhibit independent, proactive, flexible, and solution-driven work habits in a fast-paced client facing environment.
- Anticipate challenges, communicate effectively, and take accountability for outcomes.

**Qualifications**

Mandatory:

- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in life sciences, preferably in Biotechnology or Biomedical engineering
- 2 years experience working as analyst or consultant to deliver effective solutions
- Experience in biopharma R&D environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex scientific and business challenges.
- Excellent communication skills to bridge technical and non-technical teams.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken), German is a strong plus.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, comfortable working in a hybrid environment.

Nice to Have:

- Experience with AI, data-driven, or digital transformation projects in life sciences.
- Familiarity with lab systems and data.
- Experience with lab automation or digital lab transformation.
