**Position Summary**
This role will be located at the Bulach, Switzerland location which is responsible for the development, production and marketing of balloon catheters and drug-coated stent systems.


The ideal candidate would be fresh from university with a degree in IT with some experience in manufacturing IT applications. The associate application specialist will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of
**IT applications**
related to
**manufacturing and laboratory processes.**
**Principal Responsibilities**

- Production Continuity & Monitoring: Making sure of the availability of critical manufacturing IT applications by monitoring resource consumption and ensuring robust disaster recovery protocols.
- Technical Incident Resolution: Serving as the "troubleshooter" for production-floor errors related to IT applications; performing deep-dive analysis, implementing temporary workarounds to minimize downtime, and communicating resolutions to Business leaders and IT teams.
- Integrated Release Management: Coordinating the rollout of software updates by managing the interface between application developers and physical production environments.
- Technical Requirements Engineering: Translating manufacturing process needs into technical change requests, ensuring that new functional requirements are technically feasible and align with existing system architecture.
- System Documentation & Compliance: Authoring and maintaining the technical "source of truth", including operating manuals and validation-ready instructions, to ensure the shop floor remains compliant with industry standards.

**Education / Experience Requirements**

- Academic Foundation: A degree in Business Informatics or Computer Science; or higher technical administration with a specialization in IT.
- Specialized Training: Proven further education in Project Management or Process Management to handle complex organizational workflows.
- Linguistic Proficiency: Fluency in German and English (at least B1 level) to effectively navigate a bilingual professional environment.
- System Support Expertise: 1-2 years of experience in the maintenance, support, and optimization of manufacturing IT applications and information systems including Internship.
- Project & Process Lifecycle: Practical involvement in requirements engineering and project management, specifically in coordinating between Business operations and development teams.
- Regulated Industry Knowledge: Ideally, a background in medical devices manufacturing and experience with Computer System Validation (CSV) to meet the industry standards.
