**Job Description**

**Your mission:**

To reinforce the **Synechron Switzerland** team, we are looking for **a BA Application Support / FX Specialist**.Our mission is for one of our clients, a **Private Bank** **in Geneva.**

**Your responsibilities:**

- **Acting** as a technical and application expert, **supporting** the trading desk with technical, application and trading-related issues, as well as new initiatives and system enhancements.
- **Collecting** requests, questions, and incidents from business users, and prioritizing them according to urgency, impact, and management requirements.
- **Analyzing** issues at the first and second level for eventual closure, **documenting** cause and resolution.
- **Collaborating** closely with development teams to resolve complex issues and **suggesting** system or process improvements based on user feedback.
- **Working** with the Risk Office to ensure any concerns they have are immediately addressed.
- **Producing and maintaining** technical documentation and operational procedures related to supported applications and systems.
- **Developing and implementing** process improvements to increase operations efficiency and automation.
- **Participating** in the product lifecycle, including testing new releases, validating system integrity, coordinating change management activities, and supporting user training.
- **Coordinating** and **performing** the installation and configuration of trading systems according to the bank’s specific requirements for product rollouts, upgrades, and maintenance in both test and production environments.
- **Collaborating** with external vendors, brokers, and exchanges to ensure efficient and reliable trading solutions, as well as coordinating system upgrades.
- **Participating** in FX-related projects and conducting business analysis on specific trading topics in close collaboration with the FX Product Owner and IT teams.


**Qualifications**

**Your profile and skills:**

- You have **knowledge of FX markets and electronic trading environments**.
- You have **experience working with vendor trading solutions such as SmartTrade, Integral, Bloomberg, or Broadridge ULBridge**.
- You demonstrate a solid **understanding of financial risks in trading environments**, including operational, market, and counterparty risks, and you are able to identify where these risks arise within trading workflows.
- You have **good knowledge of the FIX protocol**.
- You have e**xperience with the Broadridge suite (ULBridge / ULDashboard), which would be considered a strong asset**.
- You demonstrate **analytical and problem-solving skills.**
- You have a **customer-service mindset.**
- You **are collaborative, team-oriented, and comfortable working with business users, IT teams, and external vendors.**
- You are **self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.**
- You have **excellent written and verbal communication skills**.
- You are **fluent in both French and English.**
- You are a **Swiss resident or willing to relocate.**
