**About The Role**
We’re looking for a Commercial Analytics Lead on the Commercial Effectiveness / Operations team to help us expand what’s possible for patients with serious diseases. Reporting to the Head of Commercial Effectiveness, EMEA, you’ll be responsible for the overall delivery and management of all Commercial Analytics (CA) initiatives across the EMEA region in Insmed. You will be a key member of the growing Commercial Effectiveness team in EMEA and in performing your daily responsibilities will be required to partner with a broad range of internal collaborators across the business, from sub-regional sales, marketing and management teams to Regional colleagues in Commercial Effectiveness, Marketing, Finance, Market Access and IT, as well as aligning and collaborating with Global colleagues and teams.
**This is a hybrid role, based in Zug, Switzerland.**
**What You'll Do**
In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to take a hands-on role in driving the continued design and implementation of the EMEA KPI dashboard and performance Tracker; tracking sales and prescribing trends as well as field force impact for our established products in respiratory medicine.
**You’ll Also**
- Execute strong collaboration and a mindset of transparent partnership, which will be most crucial to success in this role, as well as a consistent track record of delivery in a similar role within the Pharmaceutical and/or Biotech sector.
- Manage the day-to-day commercial performance reporting and KPI trackers within Insmed EMEA.
- Partner closely cross-functionally and with sub-regional commercial teams to ensure KPIUs and other performance tracking measures reflect the range of business insight requirements.
- Manage the implementation of any sales tracking improvements or analytics initiatives in EMEA.
- Be the point-person for any ad-hoc commercial trend analysis within the EMEA business that is required to understand sales performance in the region.
- Lead and deliver any other ad-hoc market analysis beyond sales data analysis e.g. epidemiology, prescribing dynamics, customer prioritization etc..
- Actively seek new commercial data sources and data sets that could be of benefit to Insmed and support their evaluation and implementation.
- Drive, in collaboration with the Salesforce Effectiveness lead, analytics initiatives that provide insight into salesforce activity and support the implementation of salesforce incentives.
- Act as consultant to the wider EMEA business on ideas for further initiatives and improvements, synergies and consistencies that can be brought to increase the overall quality of market insights in EMEA, especially those relying on in-house and third-party data-sets.
- Support EMEA colleagues and sub-regional sales teams through all commercial customer targeting and segmentation initiatives including third party vendor management and overseeing, in partnership with IT, internal integration with Veeva CRM.
**Who You Are**
You have a Bachelors degree along with at least 7-10 years’ experience in the European Pharmaceutical or Biotech industries in a commercial function.
**You Are Or You Also Have**
- At least 3-4 years’ experience managing projects relating to Pharma/Biotech Sales and Market analysis, using both internal sales data and that provided by Third party providers e.g. IQVIA.
- Very strong technical data mining and data-formatting skills and experience, including using SQL, Excel and VB.
- Very strong technical data interpretation and presentation skills and experience using for example Power BI, Qlik and/or Tableau.
- Familiarity with data warehouse configuration and database design.
- Familiarity with Veeva CRM.
- Proven history of demonstrating strong business understanding within Pharma/Biotech.
- Strong communication skills especially when explaining data.
- Comfortable being a subject-matter expert within EMEA.
