**How you create impact**
As the Head of Global Business Development Tech, you lead Kuehne+Nagel’s global key account program and drive the long term growth of our most strategic customer relationships. You steer a portfolio that reflects KN’s strengths, capabilities, and strategic ambitions - ensuring these partnerships scale sustainably and create enterprise level value.


In this role, you shape the global account strategy and translate market insights into actionable, cross modal commercial execution. You empower our global account community by strengthening collaboration across regions and functions, institutionalizing best practices, and supporting teams in building and expanding senior level customer relationships. Through clear performance governance and consistent measurement, you create focus, accountability, and targeted actions that drive profitable, long-term growth, expand Kuehne+Nagel’s market position, and defend share against defined targets. In doing so, you reinforce Kuehne+Nagel’s role as a trusted partner to the world’s most influential companies.



- Shape and execute the global Key Account strategy by translating macro trends, industry dynamics, and customer needs into clear, growth oriented actions.
- Monitor global market developments—including technology shifts, regulatory changes, sustainability requirements, and modal trends—to anticipate strategic opportunities for Kuehne+Nagel and its customers.
- Drive unified, global execution by embedding the Corporate Account Strategy across geographies and business units, ensuring a consistent customer experience worldwide.
- Oversee the delivery of scalable, customer centric solutions supported by strong expertise, structured governance, and clear accountability.
- Ensure opportunities and solutions align with customer complexity and business potential, enabling sustainable and profitable growth.
- Lead and develop a high performing global commercial organization by setting clear goals, defining KPIs, and maintaining transparent performance measurement.
- Strengthen team capabilities while fostering accountability, empowerment, collaboration, and continuous learning.
- Manage portfolio health, pipeline quality, and opportunity conversion to ensure strategic fit, scalability, and long term partnership potential.
- Build and nurture senior level, trust based customer relationships, acting as a strategic ambassador and engaging with C suite stakeholders to position Kuehne+Nagel as a long term value partner.
- Promote best practices and cross regional collaboration within the global account community by institutionalizing tools, methodologies, and proven success models.
- Support strategic global tenders and high value commercial initiatives by ensuring strong value propositions, robust solution designs, and effective cross functional orchestration.

Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, skills, job location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations.
