**About Us**

PathoMatch AI is an early-stage healthtech startup developing an AI-powered platform that connects pathogen genomics with the most effective biologic therapies such as phages, fungi, and mycoviruses. Our mission is to fight antibiotic resistance by combining cutting-edge data science with real-world clinical needs.

We are in the early build phase, and we are looking for a Junior Founder’s Associate Intern to support the founding team across strategy, operations, growth and project mangement. This is an exciting opportunity to be on the ground floor of a startup with bold ambitions.

**What You’ll Do**

- Work directly with the founder across operations, research, investor materials, and internal strategy.
- Support preparation of pitch decks, documentation, and internal/external communications.
- Conduct deep-dive market and competitor research.
- Help coordinate (project management) pilot collaborations, product workflows, and early regulatory planning.
- Be a part of every high-level discussion, wearing multiple hats daily.

**What We’re Looking For**

- You’re a motivated student or recent graduate in business, biotech, health sciences, or a related field.
- You’re fine to meet in St. Gallen every two weeks (maximum thrice a month) during the full internship period (12 months).
- You’re eager to contribute across domains in a fast-paced, no-scripts startup environment.
- You are curious, independent, organized, and not afraid to roll up your sleeves.
- Bonus: You’re interested in digital health, LLMs, or genomics.

**What We Offer**

- An unpaid internship at 20%-30% basis (to be mutually agreed) but with deep learning and growth potential.
- Hybrid setup, work directly with the founder in St. Gallen, meetings 2-3 times month on-site in St. Gallen.
- Full exposure to startup building in AI/biotech from scratch.
- The potential to evolve into a permanent role if there’s a strong fit.
- A front-row seat in the next wave of personalized medicine.

In the ideal scenario, after the internship, you would be taken over on a paid basis.
