**Job Specific Requirements**

- Lead & support the launch of new seating systems components from conception until product launch
- Integration of foam, trim, plastics, structures, and other non-JIT components into the final seat complete assembly
- Responsible for foam design and engineering and component releasing:
- Seat Foam complete BOM management
- Engineering Changes release
- Issue and manage engineering changes to implementation
- Issue and manage design requests for drawing and 3D updates
- Prepare and update seat complete DFMEA along with analyzing supporting teams’ DFMEAs
- Facilitate design for manufacturing meetings and process with manufacturing facilities
- Facilitate engineering profile gate/design reviews
- Technical internal and external competitive benchmarking
- Support and participate in prototype builds,
- Direct or Create one off mockups to show feasibility of design proposals

- Excellent organizational and problem solving skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks, with awareness of deadlines.
- Ability to perform complex design analysis tasks
- Ability to be a creative, independent and self motivated thinker
- Ability to identify processes needing improvement, and to recommend improvements
- Team oriented approach
