## **This is how you can contribute**
- Execution of research work within the framework of the SNSF project 'TIPPI': Phenotypic screening of ArinaTE wheat lines (including diseases), GMO trials at the Reckenholz Protected Site with modified wheat lines, molecular and genomic analyses of the lines (genome, epigenome, RNA, eccDNA, siRNAs), bioinformatics and interpretation of results, and design of experiments and field trials
- Close collaboration with project partners (UNINE and UZH)
- Publication of results in international journals, presentation of results at national and international conferences, contributions to the writing of third-party funded projects and internal funding
- Supervision of students
## **This makes you unique**
- Several years of experience in research in plant biology
- Knowledge of molecular biology, ONT sequencing, genome analysis (e.g. eccDNA, mRNA, genome) and bioinformatics
- Experience with wheat field trials, with GMOs a plus
- Motivated, independent, meticulous person, open to interdisciplinary cooperation and collaboration
- Knowledge of two official Swiss languages and English
## **In a nutshell**
The 'Crop Genome Dynamics' Research Group investigates how plants can adapt rapidly to climate change at a genetic and epigenetic level. These basic findings support the development of new breeding methods and approaches, which then should help make our crops more 'climate-ready' faster. For this, the Research Group uses genomic and epigenomic bioinformatics tools.
